Our profession is going to have to adapt to changes both internally and externally over the coming decades to continue to be a steadfast foundation that society can rely on.
This presentation will cover some of the bigger concerns our members have about the future, and how we can better understand how to manage and integrate different generations in the workforce.
- The pandemic and technology have created the ability to collaborate at higher distances at a cost to personal connections and integrating teams.
- Are the Age and demographic shifts in our work force creating different needs, and are we ready to meet them ?
- What are some of the common issues, Stereotypes and challenges with multi-generational teams and how do they hold us back.
- What are some of the things that the different generations view differently, and how do they drive their motivations.
As a Profession we are problem solvers, initiators, and are highly resourceful and adaptable. All of that will be required as we guide the profession into the future. We are often trained to deal with technical problems but are put in positions where the People problems take up a majority of our energy. The goal of this presentation is to get you to think about some of these differences and similarities of people in your team.
