PENC Educational Foundation

The PENC Educational Foundation is a tax-exempt corporation that administers funding for PENC's educational service programs such as MATHCOUNTS, student paper competitions, scholarship awards, teacher recognition and chapter educational service programs.

ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The PENC Educational Foundation hosts an annual golf tournament to support engineering scholarships, MATHCOUNTS, Future City, and other engineering outreach programs.

MATHCOUNTS

MATHCOUNTS is a national math competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement in every US state and territory. Sponsored by PENC and NSPE, MATHCOUNTS is one of the most successful education partnerships involving volunteers, educators, industry sponsors and students. FUTURE CITY COMPETITION

The Future City Competition provides a fun and exciting education engineering program for seventh and eighth grade students. This is a hands-on engineering challenge and each team presents their vision of a city of the future. The competition is intended to foster engineering skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving; provide interaction among students, teachers and engineer mentors; inform the community about the muti-disciplines within the engineering profession; and to inspire students to explore futuristic concepts and careers in engineering.
