PENC Educational Foundation Scholarships
2026 Scholarship Applications Coming Soon! PENC Scholarship The PENC Scholarship is for rising junior and senior engineering students who are enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering programs in North Carolina. The scholarship award is $2,000. PENC Freshman Scholarship The PENC Freshman Scholarship for engineering students enrolled as freshmen at an ABET-accredited engineering program in North Carolina. The scholarship award is $2,000. McKim & Creed Scholarship The McKim & Creed Scholarship for rising junior engineering students who are enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering programs in North Carolina. The scholarship award is $2,000 per year. This is a potential 2-year scholarship if the student remains in civil, environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering throughout the 2 years. The scholarship includes eligibility for an internship for the summer at McKim & Creed. Earl W. Bonner Eastern Chapter Scholarship The Earl W. Bonner Eastern Chapter Scholarship is for engineering students who are US citizens with a permanent address in the Eastern Carolina Chapter service area attending an ABET-accredited engineering program in North Carolina. The scholarship award is $1,000. Harold McKnight Scholarship The Harold McKnight Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Harold McKnight, PE. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to an engineering degree program at an ABET-accredited college or university in North Carolina. This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship.
